A sasquatch roams the forest of Northwest America and stops to catch a big fish since he is very hungry. Yum, yum, yum. He devours the ginormous salmon that he caught with his big bear beefy hands. RAAAAAA, the sasquatch lets out his big primal wild roar scaring all nearby animals, black bears, deer and chimunks. He takes a big chomp out of the fish’s head and chews it savagely, he makes a big golp right before finishing the rest of the fish. He scratches his butt and walks into the lake, in hope of finding more fish. All this happening, hundreds of miles away from any nearby city or town. No one is able to hear this beast, except me who is hiding in a berry bush. I’ve been peacefully living in a small house I made in the forest for the past few months, until now that I’ve recently found myself stumbled upon a sasquatch. I must move closer to get a better look. As I come out of the bushes, the beast is no longer in sight, have I lost him? I turn to look around the area, it’s gotten all quiet and empty, as if all the animals that were in the area have all vanished and left me alone. I get a tingly sensation in my stomach telling me that I should run as far away as possible from this place. And then out of nowhere a big shadow emerges from the ground beneath me, and water drops are flying in on me. I turn my head again to find myself upon the presence of a drenched sasquatch. Being half his size and looking right at his thick sharp wide teeth, I yell out in fear, “IT’S BIGFOOT!!”, and the rest is history, this may have been the last few thoughts of a person who had a close up encounter with the giant, too bad they probably got trapped in their stomach. So this ultimately begs the question, is there a bigfoot living amongst us, or even possibly, Bigfoots’. Based on the numerous discussions and debates, the evidence, it is without a doubt that Bigfoot is real. The beast has been reported to be giant, with reports of footprints measuring up to 24 inches.

 People have seen this creature and they’ve seen remains of it, this is no mystery anymore. Bigfoot was captured in a film by Robert Pattinson and Robert Gimlin. It was walking away in a creek and looked back in fear of the two men recording it, too large and quick to be a man in a large muscular hairy costume, and its walk was definitely not from a human. 

There have been way too many footprint sightings to declare the Bigfoot a hoax. These footprints are identified by scientists to be of unknown origin, or from an unknown species. The Bigfoot hasn’t been a completely discovered species yet so it absolutely makes sense to connect these footprints to the creature considering the footprints are clearly from a really large homosapien. The fact is, Bigfoot is real, the facts and the sightings are something that can’t be contested with.  

Bigfoot was first revealed in 1958, by a journalist Andrew Genzoli, when he highlighted a letter about loggers in North Carolina who had discovered mysteriously large footprints. This sparked the legend of Bigfoot and thus creating this goose chase of whether he is real or not. “Big Foot SIGHTINGS of the hairy beasts, standing up to 10ft tall and weighing 35st, have been around for generations in North America. And footprints measuring as much as 24 inches have been found as far back as the 19th century” (You ain’t seen nothing yeti..). This undisputed evidence is not to be ignored and should be heeded by all to those who read this. Bigfoot is practically confirmed to exist considering we know its height and weight. A report from an electrician also became public when he spotted large footprints.“ Joe Scarborough is an electrician. Last week, he was working on a home near Casar when he spotted the tracks. “It was 13, 14 inches, and so I went back to the truck and got the tape measure, and went back down there and it was fresh” (Wavy Web Stuff). How many reports and evidence are we going to need of this creature until people finally realize that it is no longer a possibility that Bigfoot is real, but a guarantee?

In the Patterson-Gimlin film, Bigfoot was seen to be walking through a creek and looking back in fear of being discovered by the two men recording. His weird walking style and movement patterns were too strange and peculiar to be from an actual person. Especially a person in a large muscular costume; it would be almost impossible for a human being to move as quickly and freely as the Bigfoot that was walking in the captured film did. “Bigfoot advocates said that the thing on the film was too large to be a human: “If the thing is eight feet tall, and it’s walking around effortlessly, it can’t be a person.” And the other thing people said was, “It walks funny. It’s impossible for people to walk like that.” (Bigfoot Exposed!) Based on this evidence, it is clear as day that a man could not have imporsanated the large beast even with a large costume on. “At this point, I’m as confident as I can be short of standing on the sandbar with Roger and Bob, and witnessed it myself” (Meldrum). Meldrum is a professor of anatomy and anthropology at Idaho State University, and he’s known for being one of the few academics to openly study Sasquatch. “It’s all so easy to say, ‘Obviously that’s a man in a fur suit.’ Until you see it up against a man in a fur suit” (Meldrum). A man that researches human structure and our species as his career is confirming the fact that the Bigfoot that was recorded in the film was not a man in a fursuit. He even goes as far as to say that he witnessed Bigfoot himself when viewing the footage. The recording is as real as can be and Professor Meldrum knew that 100 percent, and who would disagree with someone who literally studies the evolution of humans/homosapeons. Meldrum would be able to know if a human was capable of doing this. Bigfoot was never a man dressing up in a large hairy monkey costume, but an actual creature living in the deep corners of the wild.

Bigfoot leaves his footprints everywhere he walks, and many of them have been discovered by us. These footprints are far too large to come from a human, and have been studied and confirmed by scientists to have not been man-made as a fake. “One aspect of the yeti and sasquatch that remains difficult to explain, is the extraordinarily large number of sighted footprints.” (Milligan). This indicates that people are able to find these footprints which signifies to us that Bigfoot walks among us and is a lot closer and more real than you think him to be. Maybe you’re asking yourself, then why haven’t I seen Bigfoot yet then? My answer to you is that you have seen it, the footprints all debunk the claims and accusations of Bigfoot being non-existent. “This handprint cast is a copy of the original made by Ivan Marx. Grover Krantz, a physical anthropologist who studied the anatomy of Bigfoot hand and foot impressions, found many details in this impression that he thought were too difficult to fake” (Mclelland). The text is telling us, from a person who studies Bigfoot, that the printed image of the footprint that they found was too difficult for a person to make on their own. This is physical evidence that the sasquatch lives and breathes just as much as I like my hotdog with ketchup but no mustard. Bigfoot is real and all these footprints that we’ve gathered over the years prove him to be so.

In conclusion, based on the footage, footprints, and first-person eye witnesses, Bigfoot is without a doubt, real. No longer a hoax, a creature that was sworn to be just an old legend, but an actual living being walking in the woods. It’s huge, standing up to 10 feet tall, and having feet as big as 24 inches, Bigfoot has been around for generations and is not going anywhere. The giant has been filmed and proven to be a shy creature who doesn’t want to be discovered, which explains why you probably haven’t seen him in your backyard or on a hiking trip where other people go on as well. Bigfoot is a solitary creature, a sad but peaceful way of living. Although he doesn’t want to be discovered, what can stop the ever-lasting curiosity of the human mind. For us to prove that Bigfoot exists, not only in our hearts and in the stories, but in real life. It is our mission to ensure that everyone knows Bigfoot exists, and not just in our heads. The footprints alone prove his existence. It’s similar to not believing in bears because you haven’t seen one, even though there are many footprints of it. With all this knowledge that I pass down to you, I urge you to understand that Bigfoot is real, that just because you haven’t seen it, doesn’t mean it’s not there.
